What is a Celebrant?
A Celebrant is a person who is specially trained and certified to provide a meaningful service that is personalized to reflect the personality and life-style of the deceased. A Celebrant can work closely with clergy by acting solely as a Master of Ceremonies and also introduce family members and friends who wish to eulogize and share in the memories of the deceased.
Some of the Many Ways Our Celebrants Can Assist Families
- A Celebrant offers an alternative to a service offered by a clergy for those who are not affiliated with a church or who do not wish to have a traditional religious funeral service.
- Our Celebrants have been specially trained to design a service that is unique and personalized.
- Our Celebrants will schedule to meet with the family prior to the service for what is referred to as "Story Telling Time" and the service will be personalized based upon these remembrances.
- A Celebrant will assist in the writing and the reading of the Eulogy.
- A Celebrant will facilitate/coordinate unique ethnic rituals in the ceremony.
- A Celebrant, in conjunction with a Tribute Planner, will assist in the implementation/incorporation of music, a video and a theme-based ceremony.
