Thursday 10/4 - Healing Hearts Bereavement Luncheon: This month's keynote speaker is Terry Carruthers of Creative Energy. Terry will be giving us tips on winterizing our homes and saving on energy costs during the upcoming season. He will also be answering our questions about the new solar energy panel rebate programs.

Thursday 9/6 - Healing Hearts Bereavement Luncheon: This month's keynote speaker is Abby Berenbak of Mt. Pleasant Animal Shelter in East Hanover, NJ. Abby will be discussing the healing benefits of pet ownership, particularly following the loss of a loved one. She will give us tips on what to look for in a furry friend and how to determine if we're ready for the responsibility of pet adoption. This month we are also happy to announce our new venue for Healing Hearts Luncheons, Sofia's Italian Restaurant in Springfield, NJ. Sofia's has established their reputation by providing unparalleled service to many Bradley Funeral Homes families over the last two years and we are very proud to host our luncheons there.

Saturday 8/4 - Touch-A-Truck, Madison - Ever wonder what the inside of a hearse looks like? Once again we're happy to participate in Madison's annual Touch-A-Truck event at the Madison Library from 10a-2p (rain or shine!). Our Bradley Hearses will be among all the cool vehicles you can check out, and all proceeds of this event will benefit the Madison Library. Sunday 7/29 - Tuesday 7/31: ACAP Conference 2012: Trauma and Resilience - Taking place at Caldwell College, this conference is highly recommended for anyone dealing with traumatized patients, employees, friends and family. Scott Bradley has been training at this institute for 13 years, and will be facilitating a workshop Monday and Tuesday on working with the bereaved. Wednesday 7/4: Chatham 4th of July Parade - Please stop by our tent in front of 345 Main Street and help yourself to a frozen treat! We'll be giving them away and collecting donations to support Camp Clover, a bereavement camp for children that is supported by Atlantic Home Care and Hospice.
