Adelbert Werner Kuenzel, of Springfield, New Jersey passed away on September 25, 2024 of a long-term illness. He was 84.
Adelbert “Bert” was born in Elizabeth, New Jersey on June 19,1940 to Werner and Kathe Kuenzel. Bert attended school in Springfield, before studying agriculture and biology at Rutgers University. He went on to earn his Masters and Supervision Degrees from Seton Hall University. He taught biology at Metuchen High School and was Science Department Chair over his 37-year career in education.
Bert was an avid fisherman, hunter, hiker, traveler and Liebenzelle Mission Board member.
He was preceded in death by his parents and sister Doris Miller(Henry). Bert is survived by his wife of 55 years Dianne, son Peter, daughter-in-law Jennifer Hodgins Kuenzel and his grandchildren Victoria and Hunter.
