Alice Baranski

Alice Baranski, 88, of Morris Plains, NJ, formerly of Cedar Knolls, NJ passed peacefully surrounded by her family on January 18, 2014. Born in Pittsburgh, Pa, Alice lived in Cedar Knolls most of her life. She was the School District Substitute Teacher Co-Ordinator for the Morris School District for many years. Alice enjoyed crocheting and singing with the Morris Choral Society. Alice was an active member of Notre Dame Mt. Carmel Church in Cedar Knolls, where she sang with the choir and received the Pope John Paul II Apostolic Blessing for 30 years of faithful service through the music ministry at Notre Dame Mt. Carmel. Alice is pre-deceased by her husband Joseph Baranski. She is survived by her children, Joseph and his wife Marge, Roseann Hastings and her husband Robert, John and his Fiancee Cathy, James and his wife Bonnie Adams, ten grandchildren, Joey, Rob, Mike, Mercedes, Nick, Jeff, Dan, Sam, Charlie and Jack and three great-grandchidlren, Lauren, Alaina and Emerson and four siblings, Crosse de Guerre Recipient John, Michael, Olga and William.
