Teichmann, Alyce, 98, passed away peacefully on Monday, January 21st, with her loving children by her side. A Funeral Service will be held on Thursday, January 24th at 10 am at the Wm. A. Bradley & Son Funeral Home, 345 Main St. Chatham. Entombment to follow at Gate of Heaven Cemetery, East Hanover.
Born in Pittston, Pa, Alyce moved to Staten Island, NY when she enrolled in St Vincent’s Nursing School. After her graduation, she met and married William Teichmann and the couple started a family. Alyce worked as an RN at the Willowbrook State School for many years. Later the family moved to Short Hills, NJ and after she and her husband retired, they moved to Florida. Since her husband’s death in 1996, Alyce had been residing in Fellowship Village.
Alyce’s unwavering priority was always complete dedication to her family. Her focus remained that until her death. Her unbounded love and commitment will never be forgotten by her grateful family.
Alyce is survived by her three children William and his wife Angela, Thomas and his wife Linda; and Kathleen Holbrook and her husband Frederick; her six grandchildren; six great grandchildren; and many dear friends and caregivers.
