Anna B. DeLuca, 86, of Whitehouse Station and formerly of Chatham Township, NJ passed away on Monday, July 13, 2015 at Overlook Medical Center surrounded by her family.
Anna was born on July 26, 1928 in Brooklyn, New York. She was the daughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. Russell and Adeline (nee Cinquemani) Presti.
Anna and her husband Anthony were founding members of Corpus Christi Church, Chatham, NJ. She was the matriarch of the family and loved us all unconditionally. She enjoyed swimming, tennis, and staying active. Anna liked playing bridge, sewing, and cooking for her family. She enjoyed spending winters in Naples, FL, where she and her husband were very active in the Naples Heritage Country Club.
She is survived by her beloved husband, Anthony. She is also survived by her children; son, Joseph DeLuca and wife Linda, daughter, Barbara Richards Crowe and husband Donald, son, Russell DeLuca and wife Gay, and daughter, Maryanne Joachim and husband Greg. She is the cherished grandmother of Anna and husband Denis Fomin, Leo and John DeLuca, Vincent Richards and wife Heidi, Kaity Richards Botsford, Damon DeLuca, Douglas DeLuca and wife Rose, Anna DeLuca, Stephen Joachim and fiancé Rose Filoramo, David and Andrew Joachim. She is the great-grandmother of Michael and Tony Fomin, Langston and Truman Richards, Christopher, Sawyer, and Miles Botsford, and Delphin DeLuca. She is also survived by her brother, Anthony Presti and his wife Moira.
A visitation will be held on Thursday, July 16, 2015 from 4:00 to 8:00 p.m. at Wm. A. Bradley & Son Funeral Home, 345 Main Street, Chatham, NJ. A Mass of Christian Burial will be at 10:00 a.m. on Friday, July 17, 2015 at Corpus Christi Church, 234 Southern Blvd., Chatham, NJ. An entombment will follow at St. Teresa’s Cemetery, Summit, NJ. In lieu of flowers, donations can be directed to the Parkinson Association of Southwest Florida, 1048 Goodlette Road #201, Naples, FL 34102 or Corpus Christi Church.
