Anthony “Tony” Graziano,82, died on January 1, 2013 at Overlook Hospital after a short illness. He was born in Nesquehoning, PA and was a longtime resident of Springfield, NJ. Tony was Post Master in Springfield and retired 32 years ago. He was Past Grand Knight of Msgr. Coyle Council # 5560, former District Deputy, and former President of Union County Federation. He was a parishioner and usher for over 60 years at St. James the Apostle Church. During his retirement Tony was a travel agent at Vista Tours and especially enjoyed organizing tours for the St. James Seniors.
Husband of 62 years to Anne C. Graziano of Springfield. Father of Maryanne Emmel of Wharton, NJ. Fran and her husband Rusty Corcione of Kenilworth, NJ. Michael Graziano of Springfield and Peter Joseph Graziano. Grandfather of Peter Emmel and his wife Kristen of Boonton, NJ, Kristine Van Iderstine and her husband Robert of Succasunna, NJ, Annmarie Corcione and Gina Corcione both of Kenilworth. Great Grandfather of Adian Emmel and Ella Van Iderstine. Also surviving is a sister Teresa Carpenter and her husband Donald of Springfield and many nieces nephews and cousins.
Visiting hours will be held on Thursday at the Bradley, Smith & Smith Funeral Home, 415 Morris Ave. Springfield, NJ from 2-4 & 7-9pm. A funeral Mass will be held at St. James the Apostle Church, 45 South Springfield Ave. Springfield, NJ on Friday January 4, 2013 at 10:30am.
