It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of Anthony John Delfino on September 17, 2024. Tony was a beloved husband, son, brother, uncle, and friend. With his knack for turning the ordinary into the extraordinary, he could light up any room with a simple comment, joke, or story. His laughter was contagious, and he had a unique ability to make everyone around him feel special.
Although a welder by trade, he was truly himself a gearhead whose passion led him to rebuild and customize several classic cars and motorcycles. He enjoyed attending the Race of the Gentlemen in Wildwood, N.J. each year with his wife and loved spending time with his four-legged children, Cisco, Dottie, Jack, Princess, and Bubba.
Tony leaves behind a legacy of love, laughter, and cherished memories. He will be deeply missed by all who knew him. He is survived by his devoted wife, Kelly, with whom he shared a loving marriage for 20 years. He is also survived by his mother, Francine Delfino; his sister, Gia Delfino; his nephews, Aaron and Ryan Tyra; his niece, Amanda Tyra; his sister and brother in law, Colleen and Pascal Tyra; and his mother and father in law Thomas and Kathleen Kerrigan. Tony was predeceased by his father, Anthony Delfino.
Join us in celebrating Tony’s remarkable life on Sunday, October 20, 2024 from 2:00pm-6:00pm at Bradley, Smith, and Smith Funeral home in Springfield, N.J. A funeral service will be held at Saint James the Apostle Church on Monday, October 21, 2024 at 10:00am, also in Springfield, N.J. Let’s honor him by sharing our favorite stories and keeping his spirit alive with laughter.
Rest in peace, Tony. You will forever be missed, but your humor and love will live on in our hearts forever.
