Antonio D'Andrea

Antonio D’Andrea, 80 of Brick, NJ formerly of Millburn, NJ passed peacefully on January 16, 2024. Born and raised in San Bartolomeo in Galdo, Italy. Antonio and his wife Michelina came to the United States in their early twenties to Linden, NJ then to Roselle Park, NJ, where they started their family. They later moved to Millburn where they spent the majority of their lives.

Antonio started his career with the Mason Local #472 for 21 years with Schiavone and Wade Construction Companies. He later worked for the Millburn DPW for over 25 years.  Antonio was a member of the Knights of Columbus in Linden and Summit. The St. Anthony Unico, Ribera and Vallatese Clubs all of Elizabeth and the Casa Colombo Club in Millburn. He loved fishing, hunting, golfing, playing cards, gardening, wine making, boating, eating pasta, entertaining guest, a cigar aficionado, playing bocce and dancing. Antonio was always the life of the party, and he always opened his home to family and friends. He was always the first to arrive to a party and the last to leave.

Antonio is pre-deceased by his parents, Vito and Genoveffa Agostinelli D’Andrea. He is survived by his wife Michelina D’Andrea (nee Santagata), his daughter, Jennifer D’Andrea-Melchionna and her husband Rocco, his son Vito D’Andrea and granddaughters, Mia and Arianna D’Andrea.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Monday, January 22, 2024 at 10 am at St. Rose of Lima Church, Short Hills, NJ followed by the entombment at Hollywood Memorial Park, Union, NJ. Visiting hours, Sunday, January 21, 2024 from 4pm to 8pm at the Bradley Smith & Smith Funeral Home, 415 Morris Ave. Springfield, NJ.
