Arthur Butler, 79, of Springfield, formerly of South Orange passed away at the Woodcrest Health Care Center in New Milford on March 6th. Visiting hours at Bradley Smith & Smith Funeral Home, 415 Morris Ave, Springfield, NJ will be on Tuesday, March 12th from 10 to 11:00am followed by a Committal Service at Hollywood Memorial Park in Union at 11:30am.
Born and raised in Newark, Arthur was a long time resident of South Orange before moving to Springfield 5 years ago. He was vice president of Methods and Systems at Chubb & Sons Insurance in Warren.
Arthur was the beloved husband of 48 years to the late Elizabeth (nee Salmon). He was the loving father of Robert, Sandra Windmill and her husband Dan, and James and his wife Mary. He is also survived by grandchildren, Matthew and Christopher Butler, and Paige and Chloe Windmill.
