Barbara Pao-Hua Ku, 83, of Florham Park, NJ, passed away on October 17, 2024. Visiting hours at Wm. A. Bradley & Son Funeral Home, 345 Main St. in Chatham will be on Saturday, November 2nd from 9:30am to 11:30am. Interment is private.
Barbara was the youngest daughter of Yueying (Shen) and Yungui Tai, the “Father of Taiwan Physics”. She was born in Sichuan, Chengdu, China, raised in Taipei, Taiwan, settled in Whippany in the 1990’s,and later moved to Florham Park. She earned an associate’s degree from Shih Chien University in Taipei and worked for many years as a confidential secretary for the Taiwan Council for Economic Planning and Development, also in Taipei. An elegant lady with an eye for anything beautiful, Barbara loved ballroom dancing, singing, and making floral arrangements.
Barbara was the beloved wife of the late Chen Chia Ku. She was the loving mother of Theresa Ku and the late Robert Ku. She is also survived by her grandchildren, Alexander and Audrey Ku, her daughter-in-law, Lili Han, sisters, Lena Shen and Ivy Fu, and twin sister, Jenny Yang.
