Bridget was born in New York City, the daughter of Domenico and Maria Comiso. She graduated from Girls Commercial High School in Brooklyn. In her younger years, she was an office worker for several businesses in the New York metropolitan area. Bridget was a member of the Columbiettes in Brooklyn (the women’s auxiliary of the Knights of Columbus), the Senior Citizens Club of the Chatham’s and St. Patrick Church. She enjoyed painting, especially watercolors, reading mystery novels and was an excellent cook as well. Bridget overcame many health issues in her life with courage, dignity and faith in God. She was a selfless woman who put her family’s needs before her own. Bridget treated everyone with respect and kindness, made allowances for other’s faults, and never passed judgement on anyone. She always believed her faith would sustain her during difficult times.

She is also survived by her cherished grandchildren, William Maurer and his wife Courtney, Alexander Maurer, John DeLoach and his wife Kate and Christopher DeLoach.
