Carl M. Polino, 83, of Morristown, New Jersey passed away on Thursday, October 15, 2015.

Carl was born in Newark, NJ. He was the son of the late Mr. and Mrs. Gaetano and Olga (nee Pescatore) Polino.

Carl was a graduate of Cornell University with a Bachelor of Architecture in 1957. He worked as Corporate Vice President and Administrator of Store Planning for Macy’s for over 25 years. After Carl retired, he was an Adjunct Professor at Kean University where he taught design planning classes. He was a recipient of the Retail Design Institute Legion of Honor in 2008 which honors outstanding lifetime achievement in retail store design.

Carl was a talented artist and enjoyed painting in his earlier years. He loved rooting for his favorite team, the New Jersey Devils and enjoyed going to games with his grandchildren. He enjoyed studying Italian in his spare time.

He was preceded in death by his first wife of 47 years, Maria Cristina Asomoza. Carl is survived by his wife, Tatiana Luna-Victoria; children, Marissa Polino Klapwald and her husband, Alex of New Providence, Monica Polino Schneider and her husband, Jeffrey of Belle Mead and Eric Polino and his wife, Antonella of Brick; grandchildren Aaron, Zachary, Derek, Adam, Jacob, Sofia, and Carlo. He is also survived by his sister, Dolores Liebl.

A visitation will be held on Sunday, October 18, 2015 from 4:00 to 7:00 p.m. at the Wm. A. Bradley & Son Funeral Home, 345 Main St. Chatham, NJ. A prayer service will take place at 6:30 p.m. in the funeral home.
