Carlon A. Krantz, 81, recent resident of Doylestown, PA, passed away Monday, December 2, 2024 at Doylestown Hospital.
Born December 13, 1942, in Carbondale, Pennsylvania. He was the son of the late Peter and Madeline (Devitt) Krantz.
Carlon attended St. Benedict’s Prep for high school in Newark, NJ. St. Peter’s College in Jersey City, NJ and earned a MA in mathematics from Fordham University in NY. He worked for over 40 years at Kean University as a Professor of Mathematics and was Chairman of the Math Department for over 10 years. He was a resident of Union, NJ for 50 years.
Carlon enjoyed train travel, bicycling, music, photography, and golf.
He is survived by his nephew, Eric and his wife Christine, grand-nieces, Lauren and Claire, and 3 great-grandnieces and a great-grandnephew.
Visiting hours will be held on Tuesday, December 10, 2024 from 9 am to 10:30 am at the Bradley Haeberle & Barth Funeral Home, 1100 Pine Ave. Union, NJ. Followed by A Mass of Christian Burial at 11 am at Holy Spirit Church, 971 Suburban Rd. Union, NJ. Entombment St. Gertrude’s Cemetery, Colonia, NJ.
