Catherine “Kitty” Reams, 87, of Chatham and Lakewood, NJ, passed away on September 11, 2021. Funeral services were private. Arrangements are by Wm. A. Bradley & Son Funeral Home.
Born in Brookneal, VA, the daughter of J. Houston and Virginia (Woodson) Reams, Kitty resided in Chatham for 59 years prior to moving to Lakewood in 2007. After high school, she attended and graduated from the Stafford Hall School of Business in Summit. Kitty worked for Atlantic Builders Supply Corp. in Summit for 34 years until her retirement in 1988 and was on the Board of Directors of the NJ Post Polio Support Group in Lakewood.
Kitty was the dear sister of Shirley Hedden. She is also survived by her nephew Kenneth Hedden, niece Dawn Ray, cousins Ellen Covert and Nancy Brown and her dear friend and caregiver, Audrey Brown as well as many great-nieces and great-nephews.
