Charlotte Eisele Pierson, widow of Raymond Garrugus Pierson (2007), died peacefully surroundered by family, on February 24, 2013. She was born in Newark, NJ, to Gustav A. and Pauline Kindelberger Eisele on July 14, 1914. She was 98 years old. Her children Janice and Jerry Bongiovanni, Douglas and Sue Pierson, David and Colleen Pierson, provided her with 8 grandchildren, Robert Bongiovanni, Barbara (Bill) Pierson, Linda (Stephen) Jurczak, Michael Bongiovanni, Kimberly Pierson, Tim (Liz) Pierson, Erin Pierson and Kara (Sean) Richards; 12 great-grandchildren, Amanda, Ashley, Nicholas, Stephen, Matthew, Alexandra, Michael, Olivia, Charlotte, Hannah, Ella & Katherine. Charlotte spent most of her life in Springfield with the last 10 years at Fellowhsip Village in Basking Ridge. She was a resident of Eastham, MA.She was a life-long Kindergarten teacher, beginning her career at Seth Boyden School in Maplewood, NJ and after raising her children continued her teaching in the Springfield, NJ school system. She was a 62 year member of the First Presbyterian Church of Springfield, Presbyterian Women and Church Choir for 50 years. She was pre-deceased by her three brothers, Frank, Walter and Donald Eisele. Charlotte was an inspiration to her family and her many friends, a faith filled woman. She will be sorely missed by her nieces, nephews, extended family and friends.
