Cheryl Favero
02/26/1950 - 06/18/2023

Cheryl passed away peacefully, on June 18, 2023, at the age of 73, after a courageous battle with ALS, surrounded by her loving family. She was born to John and Vivian Tross on February 26, Oldest sister to Gary, Gregg, and John. They all were graduates of New Providence High School. Cheryl met Michael Favero at Fort Dix in 1970, and soon after they got married and had 3 beautiful children: Frank, Nanette, and Amanda. They spent 53 glorious years together.

Cheryl enjoyed creating artistic crafts such as: Sewing (especially making costumes for her daughter’s dance studio), crocheting, pottery, doll making, baking, canning, but what she enjoyed the most was spoiling her grandkids. She was an amazing wife, mother, grandmother, and great grandmother. Cheryl was the heart and soul of her family. She will be missed by all.

The world will never be the same.

Survived by her husband, Michael Favero; daughters, Nanette Cole (Dave) and Amanda Spencer; daughter-in-law, Anya Marshall; brother’s, Gary Tross (Debbie), John Tross Jr. (Maria). She is also, survived by 7 grandchildren, 1 very special great grandchild, cousins, nieces and nephews and friends. She was pre-deceased by son Frank Favero, son-in-law Michael Spencer Jr. and brother Gregg Tross.
