Loving Husband & Father
Christian D. Martin, 57, of New Vernon, NJ passed peacefully on July 12, 2022. He was born in Elizabeth, raised in Union and resided in Madison and then New Vernon. Christian graduated from Oratory Prep (1984), The Catholic University of America (1988), where he also played baseball. He was an Executive Director on Wall Street for Blockchain Alliance, a business consultant with Secret Walls and lastly, the CEO of Teraexchange in Summit, NJ. Christian was a parishioner of St. Vincent Martyr Church as well as a basketball coach and a member of the SVM sports committee. He also was a Semi-Professional Rugby Player in Ireland, a standup comedian, host is own sport radio talk show, “aka Sports Boy”, a dedicated NY Giants and NY baseball fan and a video game enthusiast. Christian was a wonderful husband and father. Family was his top priority. He is pre-deceased by his mother, Ellen Long Carlin and his aunt Sr. Genevieve Long. Christian is survived by his wife, Regina O’Donnell Martin, son Colin Martin, daughter Casey Martin, all of New Vernon, NJ and stepson, Sean Doyle and his wife Jordan and their son, Keenan Doyle of Jersey City, NJ. He is also survived by his brother and his wife, Kelly & Liz Martin of Southport, CT. his sister and her husband, Ryan & Paul Ungrady, of Ponte Vedra, FL. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Saturday, July 16, 2022 at 10 am at St. Vincent Martyr Church, 26 Green Village Rd. Madison, NJ. Visiting hours will be Friday, July 15th from 2-4 pm and 7-9 pm at the Wm. A. Bradley & Son Funeral Home, 345 Main St. Chatham, NJ.
