Daniel W. Kerod, 62, of Union, NJ, passed suddenly on May 29, 2019. Born in Jersey City, and resided in Union, NJ for the last 23 years. He is predeceased by his father, William Kerod. Daniel is survived by his loving wife of 23 years, Monica L. Kerod, (nee Thole), son of Dorothy Kerod, (nee Silletti), his sister and brother- in- law Katherine and David Moutner, his brother- in- law and sister- in- law Thomas and Erika Koundry, numerous cousins and family members, as well as many loving nieces and great nieces, and his beloved pets.
Daniel worked as an elevator mechanic for Thyssenkrupp for 25+ years. He was also a member of IUEC Local 1. He was avid NY Yankees fan and a great lover of animals.
He retired shortly after September 11th, 2001, as a survivor of that day.
