A service will be private for Mr. Dante Janutolo, 92, of Springfield, who died Saturday in Overlook Hospital, Summit. Dante was born in West Virginia. He was raised in Italy and came to the United States to serve in the Army.
He was predeceased by his loving wife of 60 years, Eileen. He is survived by a son, Michael, two grandchildren, Mark Janutolo and Christine and husband Shawn Hunt, and a great-grandson, Ryan Hunt. In lieu of flowers, donations in Dante’s name can be made to the American Cancer Society, P.O. Box 22718, Oklahoma City, OK 73123-1718.
