Born in Cleveland, OH, the son of Donald and Joyce Gould, Dave also lived in Columbus, OH, before moving to Chatham in 1978. He later resided in Portland, ME and Austin, TX before moving to Basking Ridge 13 years ago. Dave was a 1983 graduate of Chatham Township High School and also attended UNLV. He spent his career in the food service and hospitality industry managing restaurants in Portland and Austin. Most recently he was employed at Roots in Summit for several years. A past member of the Raritan Yacht Club, Dave enjoyed sailing, playing golf and was an avid Cleveland Indians fan.
Dave was the beloved son of Donald Gould and Joyce Gould. He is also survived by his brother Donald Gould and his wife Maria, his nephew and niece, Donnie and Jessica Gould, and his aunt Nancy Mulcahy.
