David K. Gannon, 57, of Secaucus, NJ, passed away on July 26, 2023. Visiting hours at Bradley-Braviak Funeral Home, 49 Whippany Rd. in Whippany, NJ will be on Sunday, August 6th from 5 to 8pm. There will be a prayer service at 6:30pm during the visitation. Interment is private.
Born in Paterson, the son of Robert and Judith (D’Agostino) Gannon, Dave was raised in Elmwood Park and graduated from Elmwood Park Memorial High School in 1984. He earned his bachelor’s degree in mathematics from Kean University in Union. Dave was an IT Analyst with Geographic Solutions. Previously he was president of 3G Software Technology, a family business, that specialized in consulting/contracting work with local Housing Authorities. Dave was a past parishioner at St. Leo’s Catholic Church in Elmwood Park where he also attended grammar school. A gifted bass guitar player, he also enjoyed the beach, especially Wildwood Crest, hiking and biking. He will be fondly remembered for his generosity and his devotion to his family and friends.
Dave was the beloved brother of Robert Gannon and Jeffrey Gannon. He is also survived by his cherished nephew and niece, Christopher Gannon and Melissa Gannon. In lieu of flowers, donations in Dave’s memory may be made to the Humane Society of Bergen County, 221-223 Stuyvesant Ave., Lyndhurst, NJ 07071.
