Denise A. Fogarty of Aberdeen, New Jersey passed away on Monday, July 12, 2021 at her home.
Denise was born in Queens, New York and grew up in Rockland County. She raised her family in Clark, NJ before moving to Aberdeen.
She was a graduate of New York School of Nursing and worked as a Nurse Coordinator in the oncology department at St. Barnabas Hospital for over 25 years with Dr. Breen and Dr. Gregori. Most recently, Denise was Director of Clinical Services at IPPC Pharmacy where spent the past year administering the COVID vaccine.
In her spare time, she enjoyed spending time with family and playing with her grandchildren. Denise dedicated her life to helping others and will be remembered for her endless generosity, quick wit and fierce loyalty.
Denise was the loving mother of her son Ryan Fogarty and his wife Colleen; daughter Lauren Black and her husband Kyle; and grandmother of Niall and Leah Fogarty and Sydney and Thomas Black. In addition, she was survived by her sister, Lois Weremecki; Fiancé, Rick Jansson; and was the cherished aunt of William and Susan Weremecki. She was preceded in death by her husband James Fogarty.
A visitation will be held on Friday, July 16, 2021 from 4:00-8:00 pm at Bradley, Brough & Dangler Funeral Home, 299 Morris Avenue, Summit, NJ. A graveside service will be held 11:30 am at the Chapel of Short Hills, Millburn, NJ. In her memory, donations can be made in her name to Deborah Hospital Foundation, P.O.
