Diane Kasiski

Diane J. Kasiski ,65, of Whippany died at Morristown Memorial Hospital suddenly. Diane was a 1965 graduate of Bayley-Ellard High School of Madison, NJ. She earned a BA from Seton Hill in Greensburg, PA and an MA from Fairleigh Dickenson University in East Rutherford. Diane was a Language Arts and Reading teacher for thirty years at the Long Valley Middle School in Washington Twp. Completing her teaching career as a basic skills instructor and English as a Second Language instructor also for Long Valley Middle School. She retired in 2001. After retirement Diane did volunteer work as a Basic Skills instructor at St. John’s Elementary School in W. Orange for three years. Over the years she taught over 3000 NJ school children.


Previously deceased are her parents Anthony and Helen (Lojenski) Kasiski. Survived by a Son Michael A. Bauman and wife Susan and grandson Jacob Bauman of E. Brunswick. Grandmother of Kevin and Tashaleigh (Ryerson) Bauman and great grandson, Kobe M. Bauman of Whippany. Also surviving is a brother Stanley A. Kasiski and his wife Sara of E. Hanover and two nephews John A. and Mark A. Kasiski both of E. Hanover. A funeral mass will be held on Saturday November 17 at 10:30am at the Our Lady of Mercy Chapel, interment to follow.
