~~Dolores Tower of Union, 81, passed away on September 17, 2016. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at St. Michael’s the Archangel Church in Union on Friday, September 23rd at 10:15am. Interment will follow at Hollywood Memorial Park. Friends are invited to visit at Bradley, Haeberle & Barth Funeral Home, 1100 Pine Ave in Union, from 8am to 10am prior to the Mass. Born in Schuylkill County, PA, the daughter of Michael and Pauline Bartasavage, Dolores also lived in Newark and Edison before moving to Union in 1962. In her younger years, she worked as a full charge bookkeeper for several local businesses. Dolores was a member of the Ladies Auxiliary of the VFW Kelly’s Post 2433 in Union and volunteered with the Union Knights of Columbus. She enjoyed dancing, but especially loved attending her granddaughters’ soccer and softball games.
Dolores was the beloved wife of 55 years to the late Frank. She was the loving mother of Daniel and his wife Pamela, Timothy and his wife Michelle, and Holly. She is also survived by her cherished grandchildren Lauren Tower and her husband Dr. David Mensching, Kathleen Tower Celano and her husband Gregory, Kimberly, Nicole Adams and her husband Joe, Alyssa, Samson, and Cyrus, and great granddaughter Audrey. She is predeceased by her sisters, Patricia Billings and Helen Bialecki.
