Dolores Earrusso passed away peacefully at Holly Manor Center in Mendham on October 18, 2021, after a brief illness. She was 82 years old. Born on April 28, 1939 at Columbus Hospital in Newark to Joseph and Sylvia Earrusso, Dolores was raised in Whippany, NJ., before moving to Hackettstown, N.J., over 36 years ago.
Before her retirement many years ago, Dolores worked at the Abilities of Northwest New Jersey. She loved music and was born with a gift to be able to play any instrument she touched. She was especially fond of the piano and accordion.
Dolores was pre-deceased by her parents, Joseph and Sylvia Earrusso, her sister Louise DeMaria, her niece Ann Marie Culotta and her nephew James DeMaria. She leaves to cherish her memories, her sister Anna Anderson, her nieces Alana Gillespie and Diane Adamiak, her nephews Joseph DeMaria, Peter DeMaria, and Devin Scott, as well as a host of great nieces and nephews. She also leaves behind to cherish her memories, the staff and residents at the home in Hackettstown where she lived.
