Dolores E. Kozlowsky Linfante, 95, passed away peacefully on July 4th, 2024 at Hackettstown Hospital in New Jersey.
Born in Newark, New Jersey to Leslie Theobald and Martha Schill, Dolores graduated from high school, then completed business school and worked in Newark.
After marrying, she stopped working and stayed home to raise her three children, Linda, Karen, and Teddy, and then later in life began working for Investors Savings and worked her way up to manager of her branch before retirement.
She belonged to St. Paul the Apostle Church in Irvington, then to St. Michael after moving to Union. She was a member of the The VFW Auxiliary Post 2433 where she was president from 2000-2002. She enjoyed playing bingo, crocheting, knitting, cruising, and watching Yankee games. Dolores was a big animal lover.
She was always a kind and loving lady and was loved by whomever she met. She enjoyed having her family together especially on a hot summer day to have everyone over for a cookout and a swim in her pool.
She is survived by her daughter Karen (Kozlowsky) Jacobs and son-in-law Robert Jacobs, son Theodore Kozlowsky, Jr. and daughter-in-law Joanne Kozlowsky, grandchildren Heather Keller, Alysse Jacobs, Melissa Clawson, Theodore Kozlowsky, III, Michael Kozlowsky, and Daniel Kozlowsky, and great grandchildren, Charlotte Keller, Anna Keller, and Theodore Kozlowsky, IV.
She was predeceased by husband Theodore Kozlowsky, husband Lelio Linfante, daughter Linda Clawson and son-in-law Craig Clawson.
A private service will be held on July 10th at Bradley, Haeberle & Barth Funeral Home in Union, NJ.
Memorial donations in lieu of flowers may be made to the A.S.P.C.A. or a local animal shelter of your choice.
