Doris Meyer (nee Liedke), 86, of Delray Beach, Fla., passed peacefully on February 5, 2024. Born and raised in Newark, NJ, Doris has lived in New Jersey, Connecticut, Massachusetts and most recently Delray Beach, Fla.
Doris was an executive secretary for Union Carbide and others, and a singer, including in the choir at St. Stephen’s Lutheran Church in NJ, where she was also a member. Doris was pre-deceased by her husband, Earle Meyer Sr., and is the mother of Earle Jr. and his wife Alison, Marie D’Arienzo and her husband Jimmy, and Lauren Meyer; and grandmother of Kristin, Alfie, Alexa & Carolyn. She is also survived by her longtime dear friends, Tony DiFilippo, Cheryl Bloom, and Al Michael.
A Prayer Service will be held on Monday, February 12, 2024 at 10:30 am at Bradley Haeberle & Barth Funeral Home, 1100 Pine Ave. Union, NJ followed by interment in Graceland Memorial Park, Kenilworth, NJ. Visiting hours are Sunday, February 11, 2024 from 1pm to 4pm.
