Dorothé B. Parsons, 92, of Chatham, New Jersey passed away on Wednesday, March 29, 2017 at Morristown Memorial Hospital.

Dorothé was born on February 5, 1925 in East Orange, NJ. She was the daughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. Harry and Zarahui Basmadjian.

She grew up in East Orange before moving to Chatham, NJ. Dorothé worked over 40 years as an Executive Assistant for TWA, New York, NY. She was a great lover of travel and enjoyed playing scratch off lottery tickets. She was a parishioner of St. Mary Armenian Church for over 50 years and sang in the church choir.

She was predeceased by her husband, Philip B. Parsons, MD, five sisters, and one brother. She is survived by many nieces, nephews and grand nieces and nephews.

A visitation will be held from 4:30 to 6:30 p.m. on Sunday, April 2, 2017 at Wm. A. Bradley & Son Funeral Home, 345 Main Street, Chatham, NJ 07928. A Funeral Service will be held at 10:30 a.m. on Monday, April 3, 2017 at St Mary Armenian Church, 200 W Mt Pleasant Ave, Livingston, NJ 07039. Cremation will be private.
