On November 21, 2020 Dorothy “Dot” Hazel Radzniak (Kieffer), of Phillipsburg, NJ formerly of Irvington and Newark, passed away at home surrounded by her family. Dorothy is predeceased by her parents, Eugene and Elsie Kieffer and her husband John to whom she was married for 42 years. She is survived by her beloved children, John Radzniak (Gail Ingalls), Diane Famula (Paul), Laurie Hullinger (Mark) and Susan Mathias (Billy). Cherished grandchildren Paul Famula (Allison) and Alex Famula and her two great grandchildren Keira Famula and Max Famula who brought her so much joy in her later years. Also survived by her devoted sister Jean Maurer and loving brother Robert Kieffer. Dorothy also leaves behind many nieces and nephews, including her “forth daughter” Lorraine Vasilik and the late Deborah Whitenack.
Dorothy was a lifelong member of the United Methodist Church of Springfield/Newark where she enjoyed many years of worship and fellowship with her church family.
“Dot” enjoyed many years with “The Club” with her childhood friends with whom she maintained close friendships throughout her life.
Her greatest joys in her life were times spent with her family, cooking wonderful meals for those she loved. She was an avid reader throughout her life.
Dorothy wished to express her gratitude to Dr. Charles Grubb of Phillipsburg for his many years of dedicated and considerate care.
The family would like to thank all of those special people who helped to make Dorothy’s last years as comfortable and enjoyable as possible, especially Miss Stasia her devoted caregiver.
