Dorothy Roach (nee: Doyle), 79, of Convent Station, passed away on Thursday November 15, 2012 at her home. Born and raised in New York, NY, Dorothy has lived in Hightstown, NJ, Somerset, PA and Basking Ridge, NJ before settling in Convent Station, about 13 years ago. Dorothy was employed in various executive secretarial jobs over the years. She enjoyed cross stitching and reading.
A Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Monday, November 19, 2012 at 12noon at Corpus Christi Church 234 Southern Boulevard in Chatham Township. Interment will follow at St Teresa’s Cemetery in Summit. There will be a visitation on Sunday from 4-7pm at the Wm. A. Bradley & Son Funeral Home 345 Main Street, Chatham. Predeceased by her husband William D. Roach, brothers Thomas and Walter Doyle, and sister Peggy Comey; Dorothy is survived by her daughters Mary Cruz and her husband Tony of Middletown, and Teresa Scott and her husband Stuart of Morristown; grandchildren Timothy Scott, Michael Scott and Allison Cruz; and sister Theresa Keane of McLean, VA. Devoted to her family, Dorothy was also the beloved aunt to a large extended family.
