Dorrit Brask Stagg, a long-time resident of Chatham Borough, passed away at her home on June 14, 2019. She was 94.
Born and raised in South Orange to the late Dorrit and John Brask, she was a graduate of Columbia High School.
Dorrit was a long-standing member of Chatham Fish & Game, Chatham Women’s Club and was a 68-year member of Ogden Memorial Presbyterian Church. She was also the Past-President of the Thrift Shop in Chatham, where she volunteered for many years.
She was the loving wife of 38 years to the late John C. Stagg. She is the beloved mother of Christina Jones and Robert Stagg and his wife Diana. She is also survived by her sister, Marion Hoffman, 6 grandchildren, and 8 great grandchildren. Dorrit was also predeceased by her brothers, Thurston and John Brask and her son-in-law, Lawrence Jones, Sr.
