Edna Patricia Jablonski, 79, of Chatham, New Jersey, passed away on December 30, 2023. She was born on July 22, 1944 in Brooklyn, NY to Eugene and Jane Geraghty. Edna was the beloved wife of Ronald Jablonski and loving mother of Matthew Jablonski.
Edna had a successful career as an accomplished legal secretary. After her marriage to Ronald, she moved to Bayonne, N.J., where she later became a real estate agent. Over the years, Edna’s dedication and hard work led her to become a real estate broker. She established her own real estate agency which eventually became a Caldwell Banker franchise. Edna ran the agency together with her son, Matthew. In 2013, she closed the office and began a well-deserved semi-retirement.
Edna was a devout member of Corpus Christi Parish in Chatham, N.J. Prior to that, she was a parishioner at Our Lady of Mt. Carmel in Bayonne, N.J., where she was very active in the PTA. Her faith was an important part of her life.
Edna is survived by her loving husband, Ronald and her son, Matthew. She is also survived by her sister, Carolyn Galant, and her husband Michael, as well as her godson Carey, and nephews William and John Pawlowski. Edna was preceded in death by her parents, Eugene and Jane Geraghty, and her sister, Kathleen Pawlowski.
Edna Jablonski will be dearly missed by her family, friends and all who knew her. May her soul rest in eternal peace.
