Edward J. Remlinger, 78, of Union, passed away on Friday, April 20, 2012. Born and raised in Elizabeth, Edward also lived in Orange before moving to Union 23 years ago.
A Veteran of the US Coast Guard, Edward served during the Korean War. He was a vending machine mechanic for Crystal Vending Company, in Elizabeth, from 1958 until his retirement in 1997. Edward enjoyed watching golf and fishing at the Point Pleasant inlet.
Predeceased by his beloved wife Eileen (nee: Burns), Edward is survived by his daughters Ellen Ciacciarelli, Lauren Remlinger and Kristine Remlinger-Sarni; grandchildren Michael, Gabriella and Gianna Ciacciarelli; and his sister Kathleen Andolino.
