Edward Malinowski, 64, of Springfield, passed away on Monday, January 19, 2015 at Overlook Hospital, with his family at his side. Born in Newark, Edward lived in East Hanover for 12 years. He was a longtime Springfield resident. He was a construction worker with Union 620 in Madison. A lover of music, Edward was a collector of records who loved the Rolling Stones and The Beatles. He also at one time practiced archery, and enjoyed watching his favorite movies.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Friday, January 23, 2015 at 10am at St James the Apostle Church, 45 S. Springfield Ave., Springfield. Interment will follow at Gate of Heaven Cemetery, East Hanover. There will be a visitation from 7-9pm at the Bradley Smith & Smith FH, 415 Morris Ave., Springfield. Edward is survived by his wife Lioudmila Mironova of Springfield; daughter Marla Keenan, her husband Robert and their daughter Angelina, of Mt. Olive Twp.; son Richard Malinowski of Hackettstown; step sons Dmitry Mironov from St. Petersburg, Russia and Andrey Mironov of New York. Edward will also be missed by his beloved companion Sporty.
