~~Edward J. Vecchione, 84, of Tinton Falls, formerly of Clark, passed away peacefully at Seabrook Senior Living, with his wife by his side, on January 1, 2018. The son of the late Salvatore and Helen Vecchione, he was born and raised in Union. He was a veteran of the US Army, and worked as a pipefitter for Steamfitters Local 475 in Warren.
Edward is survived by his loving wife of 55 years, Josephine; sister Carol Figlioula; brother Jack Vecchione; and many nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews. He enjoyed hunting with his beagles, fishing, and watching football. He was also an officer of the Linden Hunting and Fishing Club.
A Funeral Service will be held on Saturday, January 6, 2018 at 12pm at the Bradley, Haeberle & Barth Funeral Home, 1100 Pine Avenue, Union. Interment will take place at Hollywood Memorial Park, Union. The visitation will take place on Saturday from 10:30 am until the start of the service.
