Eileen V. Keppler, 88, a lifelong resident of Summit passed away at Peggy Coloney House Hospice on March 22nd. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at St. Teresa of Avila Church, 306 Morris Ave, Summit on Tuesday, March 26th at 10:45am. Relatives and friends are invited to visit at Bradley Brough & Dangler Funeral Home, 309 Springfield Ave, Summit on Monday from 2-4 and 7-9pm. Interment will follow at St. Vincent Cemetery in Madison.
Born and raised in Summit, Eileen graduated from Summit High School in 1942. She was a life time parishioner of St. Teresa’s Church. Eileen will be fondly remembered by her many relatives and friends as “Auntie Eileen”, “Granny” and “Mrs. Kep”.
Eileen was the beloved wife of the late Bernard. She was the loving mother of Helene Huyler, Jean Minchin, Bill, Bernard, Stephen, and Suzanne Quatrone. She is also survived by 16 grandchildren, 10 great grandchildren and her sister, Marion Paul.
