Elaine M. Grumka, (nee Smith), 80, of Dingman’s Ferry, PA, formerly of Parsippany, NJ. Born and raised in Newark, NJ. Elaine lived in Parsippany for 50 years before moving to Dingman’s Ferry, PA in March 2023. Elaine was an avid bowler, bowling in several leagues, winning trophies, and plaques. She also loved flea markets, fairs, going down the shore and walking the boardwalk. Elaine had a special love for miniature Schnauzers and Siamese cats.
She is pre-deceased by her parents, Charles Edward and Mary Sanchez Smith, her sister, Fran Hendricks and brother, Robert Smith. Elaine is survived by her husband of 52 years, Francis (Frank) Grumka, her daughters, Gen Celi and her husband Garey Vanderbilt, Theresa Jerger & her son Patrick Celi, grandmother of Scott and Shane Bosma, Richard Jerger, Nicole and Shawn Koller, Kara and Serena Celi, great-grandmother of Jayla, Zen, Kai and Jade Koller, Kyrie and Amiyah Jones, Holden and Trent Bosma, and her sister, Kathleen Patterson and brother Charles Smith.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Wednesday, May 3, 2023 at 10 am at Our Lady of Mercy Chapel, Whippany Rd. Whippany, NJ. Interment St. Mary’s Cemetery, Whippany. Visiting hours, Tuesday, May 2nd from 4 pm to 8 pm at the Bradley Braviak Funeral Home, 49 Whippany Rd. Whippany, NJ.
