Elaine R. Stroppel went over the rainbow and started her journey down the yellow brick road on Tuesday, January 21, 2020, her sixty-eighth birthday.
Born in Jamaica Estates, New York, Elaine lived on Long Island before moving to Parsippany, New Jersey. Elaine graduated from Morris Catholic High School and went on to attend Caldwell College. She earned her Master’s degree in School Business Administration from Seton Hall University. She worked for Cetera Advisor Network in Florham Park for over 30 years, as a financial advisor. Elaine was a global traveler, who appreciated fine cuisine. She was so many things to so many people, and she loved them all.
Predeceased by her parents, Charles and Catherine; and her godson Denis H. Rodimer, Jr. Elaine is survived by her sister, Elizabeth, brother, Charles (Eric) and nieces, a nephew and beloved godchildren. She will be missed by all.
A Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Saturday, January 25, 2020 at 10am at Assumption Church, 91 Maple Avenue in Morristown. Interment will be private. There will be a visitation on Friday from 6-9pm at the Wm. A. Bradley Funeral Home, located at 345 Main Street in Chatham, New Jersey. Those who wish to make a contribution in Elaine’s memory may do so to The Fund for Morris Catholic High School.
