Elmer F. Gibbs, P.A.-Hanover Twsp. Resident For Over 50 years
Elmer F. Gibbs, 91, P.A. of Whippany, NJ, passed peacefully on December 30, 2014. Born in Hope, NJ, Elmer has lived in Whippany for over 50 years. He served proudly in the U.S. Army during WWII, 1943-1945. Elmer was a self-employed Public Accountant in Whippany for many years. Elmer is survived by his wife Norma Gibbs, (nee Joyce), father of Gary F. and Gordon E. and his wife Krystyna, grandfather of Adam E. Gibbs, Kristen E. Thornton and her husband Ian, and Bryan M. Gibbs, and two great-grandchildren, Evan and Colin Thornton. A visitation will be held on Sunday, January 4, 2015 from 1 to 2 pm at the First Presbyterian Church, 494 Rt. 10, Whippany, NJ, followed by a Funeral Service at 2 pm. Interment will take place at Moravian Hope Cemetery in Hope, NJ at 3:30 pm. Donations in Elmer’s name may be made to the First Presbyterian Church.
