Evelyn M. Taylor, 97, of Bridgewater, New Jersey passed away on Sunday, November 3, 2019 at Brandywine Assisted Living.
Evelyn was born on February 28, 1922 in Brooklyn, New York. She was the daughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. Anthony and Ida (nee DeMann) Sutera.
She was a graduate of Union High School. Evelyn loved cooking, baking, reading, indoor plants and crossword puzzles. She was easy going, caring, generous and loved playing cards. Above all, Evelyn loved being a mother and grandmother. She was a realtor for over 25 years and reached the million dollar sales mark twice in the same year.
Evelyn was predeceased by her husband, Harry M. Taylor. She was the loving mother of Mary Lynn Azurak (Michael), Scott Taylor (late Sandra Edly) and Laren Lovering (Graig) and cherished grandmother of Katherine Lovering, Graig Lovering, Andrew Lovering, Scottie Taylor and Brett Taylor. In addition, she is survived by her sisters; Eileen Sutera and Gloria Sutera.
A graveside service will be held on Wednesday, November 6, 2019 at 12:15 pm at Gate of Heaven Cemetery, East Hanover, NJ. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to American Macular Degeneration Foundation, PO Box 515, Northampton, MA 01061.
