Filomena Palermo, (nee Meo), 84, of Springfield, NJ, passed peacefully at home on July 10, 2021. She was born and raised in Tricarico, Italy .
Filomena lived in London, England for 10 years before moving to the United
States in 1970 with her husband Rocco and 2 sons, Peter and Paul. They moved to Irvington, NJ for 20 years, where they ran a successful pizzeria for many years, before moving to Springfield, NJ, over 30 years ago .
Filomena is survived by her two sons, Peter and his wife Eileen, Paul and his wife Elizabeth, five grandchildren, Christina and her husband David, Julie and her fiance, Sean, Matteo, Julian &Justin, and one great grandchild, Ayla.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Friday, July 16, 2021, at 10 am at St James the Apostle Church, 45 South Springfield Ave. Springfield NJ.
Interment Hollywood Memorial Park, Union, NJ. Visiting hours, Thursday,
July 15, 2021, 4pm to 8pm at Bradley Smith & Smith Funeral Home, 415
Morris Ave. Springfield NJ. In lieu of flowers, donations in Filomena’s
