Florence E. Clymer (Badgley)
Clymer, Florence Badgley. On September 8, 2017. Beloved wife of Edward for 56 years. Devoted mother of sons Edward and wife Beryl of Rochester NY, Robert and wife Linda of Wallace NC, and Richard and wife Wendy of Concord NH. She was a loving grandmother of Abbey, Benjamin, Justin, Adam, Elizabeth, Rachel, Daniel, Debby; great grandmother of James, Cole, Aiden, and Jaxon.
Florence Elsa Badgley was born in Summit, NJ on May 7, 1921 to William G. Badgley and Florence M. Badgley. She had six brothers and sisters, with numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.
Florence graduated from Chatham NJ High School and Drake Secretarial School.
On March 15, 1947 she married Edward Clymer in Chatham, NJ. Florence was a loving wife, and caregiver in his later years, to Edward, who died in 2003.
She enjoyed many years in Chatham Township as she raised her family. As a longtime Chatham resident, Florence participated in many community, school and social events of the town. She supported her children in their many and varied activities.
In 2006 she moved from Chatham Township NJ to Concord NH. She enjoyed life in NH. She took great pleasure in participating in the lives and activities of local and visiting family through her years in Concord.
To celebrate her life, a memorial service is to be held at the Waters Funeral Home, 50 South Main Street, Concord NH at 10:00 AM on September 22, 2017. A NJ service will be held at Bradley & Son Funeral Home, 345 Main Street, Chatham NJ at 10:00 AM on September 23, 2017. Florence will be interred at the family plot at the Presbyterian Church of New Providence, NJ.
