Frances E. Hunter-Long Time Banker. 98

Frances E. Hunter, (nee Catullo), of Readington, NJ, passed peacefully on October, 7, 2014. Born in Millburn, she lived in Union and Colonia before moving to Readington 4 years ago. Frances was a banker for 37 years with Roselle Savings Bank, retiring in 1995, at the age of 79. Prior to that, she worked for General Motors in Linden, during World War II. After retirement, she volunteered for the Muscular Dystrophy Association. She was an avid reader. Frances was pre-deceased by her husband, the late Herbert Hunter, two brothers, Angelo Catullo, Jr. and Albert Catullo, her daughter in law Susan Hunter and her grandson Daniel Scott Loblein. She is survived by her son Hugh “Chip” Hunter, her daughter Jill G. Schafhauser and her husband Gene, three granddaughters, Gabrielle Hunter, Gillian Hunter Parker and her husband Shane and Stephanie Hunter, a grea-grandson Jessie Daniel Parker and her sister in law Doris Catullo Ringenback. Visiting hours will be held on Friday, October 10, 2014 from 4 to 8 pm, with a Funeral Service at 7:30 from the Bradley Haeberle & Barth Funeral Home, 1100 Pine Ave, Union, NJ. Interment is private. In lieu of flowers, donations in Frances’ name may be made to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN, 38105 or to Hunterdon Hospice, 2100 Wescott Drive, Flemington, NJ 08822.
