Frank Polli, 78, of Summit, passed away on Wednesday, April 9, 2014 at home. Born in Massimeno, Italy, Frank came to the United States when he was 19. He has lived in Summit most of his life.
Frank was an avid hunter, and enjoyed mushroom picking and cooking. His passion and pride was his garden, whose bounties he loved to share with his friends and neighbors.
Frank was survived by his wife Louise; sister Tina Prantil; nephew Paul Prantil and niece Judy Rossmeisel.
There will be a Funeral Mass on Monday, April 14, 2014 at 10:45am at St Teresa of Avila Church, 306 Morris Ave., Summit. Entombment will follow at St Teresa’s Cemetery Mausoleum, Summit. There will be a visitation on Sunday from 2-4 & 7-9pm at the Bradley Brough & Dangler Funeral Home, 309 Springfield Ave., Summit.
