He is also survived by his sisters, Christie Chaconas (Aris) and Libby Moffitt (Doug); father-in-law Bong Jin Choe; brothers-in-laws, Jason Choe (Soon-Young), Sam Choe (Ki-Hyun), and Chris Choe (Jane); nieces and nephews, Jack Moffitt (fiancé Allison), Bobby Moffitt (Nell), Lizzy Chaconas, Pete Chaconas, and David Moffitt; on his wife’s side, Daniel Choe (fiancé Olivia), Ellen Choe (fiancé Gabe), Monica Choe, Timothy Choe, Grace Choe, and Andy Choe; as well as cousins, friends, colleagues, and his two Labrador retrievers Ellie and JimBob.
In lieu of flowers, donations in Fred’s memory may be made to the Morristown Education Foundation, in hopes of creating a scholarship for students of the Morris School District who want to further their education but do not have the financial resources to do so.
