Gerald B. O’Connor, Jr., 54, of Chatham, NJ passed away on Monday, October 10, 2023.
Jerry was born on October 8, 1969, in Livingston, NJ to Gerald and Dianne O’Connor. He was raised in South Orange, NJ along with his sisters Kimberly and Sharon.
Jerry attended Gill St. Bernard’s high school and graduated from Johnson & Wales University. Upon graduating, Jerry embarked on a lifelong career in financial services, most recently at JP Morgan Chase.
Jerry is predeceased by his father, Gerald B. O’Connor. He is survived by his son, Dylan O’Connor, his mother, Dianne M. McDonough, his stepmother, Patricia O’Connor, and his sisters Kimberly Stuermann (Andreas), Sharon Cote (Charles) and Katherine O’Connor (Ben Zeidler) as well as his nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held at Bradley Brough & Dangler Funeral Home, 299 Morris Ave, Summit, NJ from 3pm to 7pm on Friday, October 13, 2023. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at St. Teresa of Avila Church, 306 Morris Ave, Summit, NJ at 9:30am on Saturday, October 14, 2023.
