Giancarlo “John” Infantino of Whippany age 68 left us too soon on April 21. He was a devoted husband of 42 years, loving father and Nonno. John was born in Latronico in the province of Potenza Italy. John immigrated to the US with his family in 1968. He began his own landscaping company in 1976 and ran a successful business for 43 years. He loved Italian music and soccer was his passion-particularly the team Juventus. He enjoyed making his homemade wine. John loved traveling back to visit family in Italy and in his retirement spent a lot of time with family and friends at their homes and at Caffe Roma in Orange, NJ.

John is predeceased by his parents Alessandro and Maria and his sister Rosanna DeMartinis. He is survived by his wife Ursula (nee DeRose), children Dana Raftas and husband Nicholas, Damien Infantino, Kaitlyn Infantino and his two granddaughters who he adored Liliana and Chloe Raftas. He is also survived by his sister Ausilia Yanuzzi and her husband Michael and his sister Antonietta DeLuca and brother Domenico and his wife Franca of Italy. John is also survived by many in-laws, cousins, nieces and nephews.

A visitation will be from 4:00 to 8:00 pm on Monday, April 26, 2021 at Bradley-Braviak Funeral Home, 49 Whippany Road, Whippany, NJ. A Mass of Christian Burial will be 10:00 am on Tuesday, April 27, 2021 at Our Lady of Mercy Church, 90 Whippany Road, Whippany, NJ 07981. An entombment will follow at Gate of Heaven Cemetery, East Hanover, NJ.
