Glenn “Skip” Miller, 85, a life long resident of Summit, passed away at his home on April 11th.
Skip was the beloved husband of 56 years to the late Jane Hoffman-Miller. He was the loving father of Sallie K. Miller, Susan M. Miller, Motts Walters and Glenn Miller III and his wife Antoinette. He is also survived by his cherished grandchildren, Annie and Christopher Walters and Shannon, Melissa, Gabrielle and Sean Miller. He is also predeceased by his favorite son-in-law Timothy R. Walters.
Skip was one of the owners of Stephens–Miller Co. of Summit and Conkling-Miller Co. of Bernardsville, both family operated businesses. Stephens-Miller Co, started in 1901, was a building materials and lumber yard. He also served in the European Theater for the U.S. Army during WWII.
