Gloria E. Fuechsel

Gloria E. Fuechsel, 85, of Hanover Township, died on Wednesday, March 13, 2013 at St. Clare’s Hospital in Dover.

Mrs. Fuechsel was born in Jersey City, NJ and lived in Hoboken for 45 years before moving to Keansburg for 5 years and Hackettstown for 2 years. Gloria had been a resident of Whippany, NJ for the past 27 years.

Mrs. Fuechsel was a homemaker in addition to working for A.R.A. Services in Hoboken. She held memberships with the V.F.W. Post 158 Aux. in Hoboken, the First Methodist Church and Reformed Methodist Church in Hoboken, the Deborah & Bayshore Cardiac Club, and most recently with the United Methodist Church in Parsippany, NJ. She was also on the Zoning Board and Floodgate Control of Keansburg as well as the Welfare Board, and was a volunteer at Hackettstown Hospital.

Surviving is her husband of 27 years, Robert D. Fuechsel, Jr., and her children, Coreen Walther, Steven Brereton, and Alan Brereton, and all her grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews.

Mrs. Fuechsel was predeceased by her late husband Thomas S. Brereton, her two sisters, Sally Brereton and Terri Bilarczyk, and her brother, Harold Hutchinson.

Friends and family are invited to attend a visitation for Gloria on Tuesday, March 19, 2013 from 10-11am followed by an 11am service at Bradley-Braviak Funeral Home, 49 Whippany Rd, Whippany, NJ. Interment will follow at Evergreen Cemetery, Basking Ridge, NJ.
